Our Team

Krista Celedon is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word. She then worked in various departments of Women’s health as a RN while she pursued her masters degree. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Texas State University. She also has specialized training in medical aesthetic treatments. On her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, son and daughter. 

Dr. Lisa Gurwitz received her undergraduate degree in biology from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. She then attended medical school at the University of Kansas, graduating in 1990. She elected to stay in Kansas City and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Gurwitz moved to San Antonio in 1995 and began her career in women’s health. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Gurwitz enjoys spending free time with her friends and family, serving as an alumni ambassador for Denison University,  learning to play golf and, and volunteering at the food bank

John Kellum was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to medical school, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin College, Sherman, Texas. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Kellum studied medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio, graduating in 1990. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston, Texas in 1994. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American College of Ob/ Gyn.
